Australian Content: Subscription Television |
In late 1999, the Australian Government introduced a scheme to promote the production of Australian drama by on subscription television drama channels. The AFC supported the introduction of the scheme and believes that there is a strong argument to increase the current requirement for drama and to extend the scheme to promote the screening of Australian documentaries on subscription television documentary channels. |
