Introduction
The Pusan Festival began in 1996 with the goal of becoming Asia's most dynamic film event. It also features the Asian Film Market (AFM) co-production event, formerly known as the Pusan Promotional Plan (PPP). PIFF looks for fairly new artistic works of young and talented directors as well as established directors. The festival gives priority to world premiere and every film that will be screened for the festival has to be at least Korean premiere.
