- Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Library
One of the major collections of literature on broadcasting and media in Australia. Major subject areas include communications law, administration law, corporations law, radio and television broadcasting, broadcasting policy, broadcasting technology, mass media, media culture, telecommunications, advertising, journalism and online issues. The collection includes books, reports, pamphlets, periodicals, government reports; many available online. Computerised retrieval systems give quick access to information in its own collection. The public is invited to use the Library by appointment for research purposes during normal business hours (9 am-5 pm).

- Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS)
The AFTRS is the national centre for professional education and advanced training in film, broadcasting and interactive media for Australian citizens and permanent residents. A variety of full-time courses (mostly at postgraduate level) are conducted in Sydney and hundreds of short courses are conducted nationwide each year. AFTRS also offers online courses. - Internet Archive: Movie Collection
This collection contains movies that the Prelinger Archives has digitized (about 956 now online) and donated to the Internet Archive. The films focus mainly on everyday life, culture, industry, and institutions in North America in the 20th century. This is the first time that most of the films have been available to the public. They are "open source movies" -- available for viewing at no cost and with few restrictions. About 956 films are now online.
