See what's screening and which international guests are attending the IndiVision Independent Focus at the 2008 Sydney Film Festival. Independent. Individual. Visionary. IndiVision is an initiative of the Australian Film Commission aimed at energising low-budget filmmaking in Australia.
IndiVision supports the development, production and promotion of distinctive low-budget Australian features through the following funding avenues (please note guidelines and application forms for these strands are under the Drama tab):
- the IndiVision Project Lab - a high-level professional hothouse with international advisors on script, visual language, performance and production strategy.
- the IndiVision Production Fund, which can provide funding of up to $1.25 million for a low-budget feature.
- the IndiVision Script Development Program.
- IndiVision Marketing - marketing workshops and assistance to filmmakers to travel to festivals and markets.
You can subscribe to IndiVision News, an e-zine bringing you the latest interviews, trends and links in international low-budget feature filmmaking. Published three times per year.
The AFC website also has a range of resources that can help you make a low-budget feature.
