- 10BA and 10B Film Tax Incentives
Until 2007/08, the Government encouraged private investment through tax incentives under divisions 10BA and 10B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936. The 2007/08 Budget announced a new Producer Rebate to replace the 10B and 10BA schemes, which closed to new applications from 30 June 2007.

- Australian Electronic Business Network Ltd (AUSe.NET)
Independent, not-for-profit organisation established by Australian federal, state and territory governments, in partnership with industry, to encourage the use of electronic commerce among Australia's small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This will be achieved through training and awareness programs and access to web-based information resources, complementing services offered by existing e-commerce service providers. - Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO ) Formerly (NOIE)
On 8 April 2004, the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO) was established, replacing the National Office for the Information Economy (NOIE).
Functions of the former NOIE relating to the promotion and coordination of the use of new information and communications technology to deliver Government policies, information, programs and services have been placed with AGIMO.

- Australian Research Council (ARC)
Advises government on research funding and policy and, through its management of the National Competitive Grants Program, promotes the conduct of research and research training. The ARC's Linkage Project, forexample, is an application-based program available for individual researchers or research teams which supports collaborative research projects between higher education researchers and industry and identifies an allocation to projects of benefit to regional and rural communities. Proposals must contain an industry contribution, in cash and/or in kind.

To provide greater certainty for investors the ATO has introduced a ‘Product Rulings' system. Promoters of an investment can apply (it is not compulsory) to the ATO for a ruling on the availability of the investment's claimed tax benefits, and potential investors may wish to approach their film promoter for details of any applicable ruling. - Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC)
EFIC, Australia's export credit agency, assists Australian exporters to compete internationally by providing insurance and finance facilities to the overseas buyers of Australian capital goods and services, or to their financiers. EFIC's medium to long-term services include export credit insurance to cover the risk of non-payment, export finance and political risk insurance, bond issuance and guarantees. Short-term services include export credit insurance and unfair bond calling insurance.
