Movies continued to be the most popular type
of video product sold, maintaining around 56 per cent share of DVD sales
over the last two years.
With 27.7 per cent of DVD sales, television
series is the only category to sustain a continuous rise in retail share
over the last eight years. Children's television programs remained steady
around 5 per cent.
