The AFC supports Australian documentary practitioners, projects and screen culture through ongoing funding programs, related initiatives, print and online publications and a directory of web links. As part of the National Film and Sound Archive's Collection Development Policy, a wide range of culturally significant Australian documentaries are acquired for the National Collection.
